400;\"><br><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When completely replacing POL001 with castor oil, the formulation exhibited phase separation.<br>This phenomenon is due to the chemical nature of castor oil, which consists of both a non-polar and a polar part.<br>The non-polar part of the oil creates two distinct phases in the final formulation: one polar and one non-polar.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br><\/span><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1897a65 elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" In addition, the shrinkage of the polyurethane foam is due to its chemical composition, which leads to bonds that are unable to ensure the material\u2019s stability.
